Senior Management Team

Michael Cameron, Chief Executive
Michael is the Chief Executive and accountable officer, responsible for managing and directing the organisation to fulfil its purpose and meet its objectives.
Christine Macleod, Director of Regulation, Governance & Performance Division
Christine leads the Governance & Performance Division which is responsible for assessing governance in RSLs, and when necessary supporting or intervening to ensure they are well-governed. Christine’s team also assesses RSLs and Local Authorities’ performance in delivering services to tenants and homeless people and will monitor, assess and report on how all social landlords are performing against the Scottish Social Housing Charter's outcomes and standards. Her team deals with day-to-day enquiries about governance issues, statutory consents, whistleblowing, notifiable events, and significant performance failures; and supports continuous improvement by publishing case studies of good and poor practice.    
Iain Muirhead, Director of Strategy and Communications
Iain leads the Strategy and Communications Division. The division is responsible for managing our corporate governance arrangements and providing support to our Board and Chief Executive. It leads on our corporate planning, performance management, budget reporting and risk management arrangements, and our internal and external audit. It is responsible for our communications function, including our website, publications and media. The division provides analytical and research support to our regulatory policy development, and legal advice through our solicitor. It supports the organisation by leading on corporate policies and activities including equalities and learning and development as well as our administrative support function.
Ian Brennan, Director of Regulation, Finance & Risk Division
Ian leads the Financial Regulation and Risk division which is responsible for the collection, analysis and publication of financial, performance and statistical information in relation to individual landlords and sector wide. The division also leads on risk assessment and regulation planning activities in relation to RSLs. This includes the development of proportionate regulation plans and strategies for those organisations that need high or medium engagement and ensuring that RSLs remain solvent and are financially sustainable.
