In this section you can find information on regulatory policy. We have set out how we implement Scottish Ministers’ powers of regulation, inspection and intervention in four key policy documents.

We publish our regulatory requirements and expectations in our guidance notes. All the regulatory guidance issued by Communities Scotland is still valid and carries forward to the Scottish Housing Regulator. Please note that all of the guidance notes issued by Communities Scotland have been renumbered.
