Our Commitment to Equalities

As a public body the Scottish Housing Regulator has a statutory responsibility to promote equality of opportunity in all our activities. We aim to develop an organisational culture that makes our work responsive to the communities we serve and values the diversity in our workforce.

We have developed our equality statement and action plan in line with the Scottish Government’s published equality strategy. In that Scottish Ministers have set out their vision of: “…an open, just and inclusive Scotland where respect and understanding are fostered and where everyone is encouraged and enabled to live, work and take part in society to their full potential, free from prejudice and discrimination.”
