Loan Portfolio Return 2009

We continue to collect details of RSLs private finance borrowings. This helps inform our understanding of the sector’s dealings with private lenders and the extent to which arranged facilities support future developments and maintenance programmes.

We publish our review of the loan data we collect in the Financial Digest, which can be downloaded from the Statistical Publications section of the website.

Information on the arrangements for this year’s collection of loan portfolio data has now been sent out to all RSLs. Collection of the data is in the same format as recent years and all RSLs should by now have received details about their own individual accounts and how to access the on-line system. The system is now open and it will remain open until the submission deadline of Wednesday 30 September. Like last year this is in line with what, for the majority of RSLs, will also be the submission deadline for the annual accounts.

We are once again providing a help desk service for all users during the submission period. Murray Smith will be your main contact but it will be staffed by all members of Business Analysis and you should refer to the user guide for contact details.
