5.1 Do you have a system for evaluating the outcomes from the BP process?

• Have you a baseline against which you can measure improvements?
o Does this include individual projects/initiatives and the BP as a whole?

• Do you have a challenging evaluation mechanism?
o Is there any independent scrutiny?
o Do you look at short, medium and long term outcomes?
o Can you show improvements against your peers?

• How do you communicate with your stakeholders about the outcomes from the process?
o Are they involved in the evaluation and if so, how?

• Do your partners, funders, think highly of you?
o How do you know?
